1. painting with watercolors.

2. having an unexpected day off of work.

3. successfully painting my nails on BOTH hands.

In other news, I want to learn how to sew things that I would actually wear/use.

Big sigh of relief. I'm content with how everything is coming to pass. 'The Big Man Upstairs' really knows what he's doing and how to put all the pieces in place.

Being content makes me feel like this.

retail therapy.

After anything major happens I shop. I don't spend extravagant amounts of money or break the bank but I do like me some shopping, it's good for the soul.

I started out with some fun makeup.

I ordered it online and it came right in time for Halloween.

I bought these lo pros in purple that I've been waiting to buy forever.

I really want the azalea ones too.

& of course top it all off with a little PINK

mysterious ways.

It's funny how everything can go from falling apart to falling together in a matter of days. Life just took a 180 turn and I couldn't be more thrilled. I just had to wait out this little storm and now I'm under an umbrella. Speaking of storms.. there's a crazy one going on outside my window right now! Here's a brief run-down of why my life is pretty cool right now:

- I'm now a sales associate at Bath & Body Works. I had a group interview a few weeks ago and thought I did pretty bad. I don't do so well with big groups of people trying to talk over the top of each other. Thanks to many prayers in my behalf, I miraculously got the job. And the best part is... I come home from work smelling FABULOUS. lol.

- Jimmy came into town from AZ. Me, Lanea and the crew met him at the airport, complete with a "WELCOME TO AMERICA" sign on Thursday. We had a weekend full of random adventures like: the homecoming game, BJ's, McDonald's ice cream cones, jerkin at the Safeway parking lot and more. The weekend came to a close with our final goodbye to "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie lol.

- Homedude came back the states and is planning on visiting soon. We finally talked to the phone on Saturday for a pretty long time I might add, and it was pretty awesome. It felt like we've known each other for a long time, when in reality we've never even met, but we will soon and it will be great :) woo.

& that is all. See, I've been procrastinating blogging because I thought I had nothing interesting going on, but hey I guess I do.

I can feel that something good is going to be coming into my life soon and I can't wait to see how it all goes down!

I watched Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn perform their song "Relator" on the Ellen Show this morning. I like it.

- I got my driver's license finally!

- I have a job interview tomorrow, well technically, today.

Who would have thought technology would be so useful? I got a great spontaneous email from my favorite dude. Next week I'll be up until 2:30 AM so we can have a little e-mail pow wow. That's not such a convenient hour, but eh I can't change an 8 hr time difference just yet.

Lately I've been feeling so happy and I don't know why. It's not like anything majorly joyous occured in my life recently. I guess I'm just happy for people in my life that are finally getting the good things that they deserve. I'm blessed. I'm grateful that things are falling together for people that are around me, because I know my time will come. As for now, I'm just plain happy and nothing can bring me down.
